The culinary jewel beyond the hustle of Kapana

Just a few steps away from the lively buzz of Kapana, under the shade of an old linden tree – the very first to announce the good weather in Plovdiv – stands a discreetly elegant little restaurant, impossible to overlook, and one that can easily become your favorite place.

Patriki Restaurant is nestled in a beautiful building on “Rayko Daskalov” Street number 57A, and the interior is the first thing to impress you as you walk in. High ceilings, soft lines, wooden details, and a carefully chosen color palette – everything is in harmony with the spirit of the building, honoring Plovdiv’s authentic urban aesthetics while bringing a touch of modernity.

Even before tasting the food, you can sense that this restaurant was created with true care.

And the food! The food continues the story of that very first impression. The menu follows the rhythm of the seasons, with a thoughtful selection of ingredients that carry both the richness of ripe fruits and the freshness of vegetables.

The first dish to appear on the table – and a frequent choice of Patriki’s guests – is the Burrata Salad, unlike any you’ve ever tried: sun-kissed tomatoes, a generous portion of high-quality Italian cheese, and juicy grapefruit that elevates the flavors to another level.

Adding to the feast is the baked Camembert – perfect in texture, served with sour cherry jam and chili peppers. An unusual yet wonderfully successful contrast that unfolds the depth of the cheese’s flavor. Crunchy nuts add yet another layer, and the entire presentation carries that French spirit which naturally calls for a glass of wine.

From crispy skewered shrimp to a delicately plated sea bass fillet – golden-crusted, fresh, and subtly seasoned – every dish proves that Patriki truly understands taste.

And the sweet finale here is a must. We’ll leave that pleasant surprise as a personal experience. Ask your waiter about the seasonal dessert offerings. Whatever you choose, Patriki will not disappoint.
