Trakiets Horse Riding Base in the village of Zhitnitsa will once again host one of the most anticipated sporting highlights of the fall – a three-day show jumping tournament, which will be held from September 26 to 28. The event is part of the official calendar of the Bulgarian Equestrian Federation and attracts competitors from all over Bulgaria.
Spectators will have the opportunity to watch contested trials in several categories – from the smallest and bravest riders in the “Pony” round to the masters in the “Golden Round”, where the obstacles reach a height of 140 cm. Within the framework of the competition, cash and material prizes worth over 16,000 BGN will be distributed, as well as cups and medals for the best.
The program is rich and diverse. On Saturday, a colorful costume parade will take place during the children’s and bronze trials – a true celebration of imagination, transforming the arena into a scene of smiles, fantasy and artistry. Last year, this carnival delighted the audience with impressive costumes made personally by the little riders, and this fall, expectations for the spectacle are even higher.
The big excitement will come on Sunday, when the Grand Prix will be held – the most prestigious competition at a height of 140 cm. Then the special awards will be awarded:
• “Marshal” Prize – Best competitor in the “Pony” category for 2025
• “Alera Equip” Prize – Best competitor in the “Children” category for 2025
• “Zhitnica Cup” Prize – Best competitor of the tournament
The organizers entrusted the construction of the course to Lukas Shutrowski from Poland – an international course designer with over a decade of experience, who guarantees professionalism and a real challenge for the participants.
The tournament in Zhitnica combines sporting passion, emotion and a festive atmosphere. Admission for spectators is free, and the event is a great opportunity to experience the beauty and grace of equestrian sport.
