The new cinema complex has 7 halls, including IMAX with Laser, ScreenX and a VIP hall. All of them are equipped with comfortable armchairs, each with three motors for personalized seat adjustment, as well as its own movable table.
The hall also offers a fast online ticket booth, high-end sound equipment from QSC®, as well as full digital integration – mobile applications, electronic gates, online program and a loyalty program for its visitors.
The cinema in Markovo Tepe will be home to the first IMAX® with Laser in Bulgaria – a new generation laser projection, crystal clear and realistic picture, as well as a multi-channel IMAX Immersive sound system. Viewers will be able to enjoy the most immersive movie experience in the world.
Crystal clear IMAX projection offers higher resolution, brighter picture, deeper contrast and the widest color spectrum available to directors, for the most realistic vision possible. The sound is of next-generation precision and provides amazing clarity and depth, in addition to evenly distributed audio in every point of the hall.
The design of the technology is conceived to envelop the viewer, thanks to a specially designed cinema with seating arrangements for excellent visibility from every seat, as well as a screen optimized for the most immersive image.
The other new technology is ScreenX, with the Cineland Markovo Tepe cinema complex in Plovdiv being among the first locations in the country to introduce the innovation. This is the world’s first multi-projection technology that creates a 270-degree panoramic experience. The action in the film expands beyond the main screen onto the side walls of the hall, immersing the viewer in the very center of the story.
There is also a unique VIP room, which will be opened very soon. It will have 5 double special cinema beds. And as an additional service, viewers can choose the film themselves to watch. Catering is provided, and VIP guests can enjoy privacy, special treatment, a large screen, quality DTS® sound and home comfort.
