The summer of 2026 promises to transform Plovdiv into the music capital of the Balkans. From the big stages of Hills of Rock to the new three-day adventures of PhillGood, July will be full of energy, rhythm and unforgettable moments. Here are the three events you should not miss.
Hills of Rock
Hills of Rock returns with new names that will make the hearts of rock and metal fans beat faster. Godsmack, Vended, Paradise Lost, Nothing More, Nevermore and Of Mice & Men are already confirmed, and they are joined by Lamb Of God, Electric Callboy, Black Label Society, Deafheaven and Karen Dio.
The second stage is no less impressive. Orbit Culture from Sweden will offer a combination of groove, melody and cinematic depth, while the cult The Toy Dolls will bring punk energy, stage madness and infectious humor. With Hills of Rock 2026, Plovdiv will become the center of heavy music, bringing together different generations and styles in one place.

BE4 Hills
For those who want to make the festival four days long, BE4 Hills is here to help. On July 23, 2026, the Grebna baza stage will open its doors with four impressive bands: Swedish metal machine Sabaton, cult Savatage, Dutch symphonic band Epica and Bulgarian Sevi.
This stand-alone concert day is both a separate event and an extension of Hills of Rock, allowing fans to immerse their senses even further in the magic of the festival.

PhillGood
In 2026, Plovdiv will also become home to a new three-day festival with artists that fans have adored for years. Between July 17 and 19, the Rowing Base will become the stage for PhillGood – a place for positive energy, freedom and unforgettable emotions.
The Cure, Gorillaz and Moby are just the first confirmed names that will bring an avant-garde sound and atmosphere created for fans looking for a musical reboot and a true sense of freedom. PhillGood is a festival that promises three days full of emotion, rhythm and that magical “feel good” vibe that makes Plovdiv shine.
