Where to enroll children in the summer in Plovdiv?

With the end of the school year comes one of the big questions for parents – how to organize children’s summer so that it is both fun, useful and active.

One of the options we offer is to take advantage of the rich portfolio of camps of the Bikearea organization. We dedicated a separate article to them last week, and today we mention them as one of the places that turn summer into a real adventure with long-term value for children.

Their concept is to develop children’s and youth camps under the name “Beglika Camp”, which combine movement, sports and learning through experience in nature. The programs are suitable for different ages and levels of preparation – from base camps for children between 9 and 14 years old, where the little ones take their first steps towards independence through games, sports and outdoor activities, to more dynamic adventures in the mountains. In addition to the Golyam Beglik Dam area, the camps are also held in other mountains in Bulgaria such as Rila and Stara Planina.

For the more adventurous, the Wild Rhodopes programs and expedition camps have been created, which include hiking, cycling, boating, climbing and orienteering. Participants change camp sites, go through different routes and develop skills such as adaptability, responsibility, teamwork and care for nature. Bikearea also organizes family camps, as well as individual programs for schools, sports clubs and groups, turning time in nature into a real adventure with long-term value for children.

For parents who prefer their children to stay in the city, a good option are the summer camps in Plovdiv. They usually combine academic classes in mathematics, literature and preparation for the next school year with sports, games and walks. Among the established offers are the programs at the Sila sports hall, the bases around the Youth Center of the Rowing Canal and various school centers.

Summer can also be an excellent time to upgrade your knowledge of a foreign language. Language schools in Plovdiv are now accepting applications for intensive summer courses that allow children to progress within two months. For younger students, learning is often combined with games and creative activities, while for older students, the programs are more intensive and focused on specific levels and certificates. Among the preferred options are Maximum, Europe Schools and Trinity School of Languages.

Whether you choose a mountain camp, a city daycare or a language course, early planning is key – many programs have already opened their registrations for the summer season.
